The USPD Gang Unit is a specialized division dedicated to dismantling criminal organizations, disrupting gang-related activities, and ensuring the safety of the communities we serve. Operating with a proactive, intelligence-driven approach, our highly trained officers and detectives work tirelessly to combat violent crime, narcotics trafficking, human trafficking, and illegal firearms distribution linked to gang networks.

Our Mission

Our primary mission is to identify, investigate, and eliminate gang-related threats through targeted enforcement, community engagement, and interagency collaboration. By leveraging advanced investigative techniques, undercover operations, and surveillance, we proactively target the most dangerous offenders and disrupt criminal enterprises at their core.

Key Responsibilities

• Intelligence & Surveillance – Monitoring gang activities, gathering actionable intelligence, and coordinating with local, federal, and international law enforcement agencies.

• Investigations & Enforcement – Conducting long-term investigations into gang-related homicides, drug trafficking, extortion, and violent offenses.

• Intervention & Prevention – Working with community leaders, schools, and social services to prevent gang recruitment and provide at-risk youth with alternative pathways.

• Specialized Tactical Operations – Executing high-risk search warrants, conducting fugitive apprehensions, and providing support for critical SWAT missions involving gang violence.

Collaboration & Partnerships

The USPD Gang Unit works closely with the FBI, ATF, DEA, Homeland Security, and local law enforcement agencies to combat transnational criminal organizations and dismantle gangs that pose significant threats to public safety. Through task force operations and joint investigations, we ensure a united front against gang-related crime.

Community Engagement & Education
