Emergency & Service Requests

The United States Police Department does not operate a public call-for-service or emergency dispatch center. All emergencies, crimes in progress, or requests for immediate police response must be directed to 9-1-1 or the appropriate local law-enforcement agency with primary jurisdiction.

Calling the USPD non-emergency number will not result in dispatch of patrol units or emergency response.

Public Affairs & External Communication

All external communication with the USPD is coordinated through the department’s Public Affairs Office (PAO). This office serves as the sole authorized point of contact for public-facing inquiries and ensures that information is released accurately, lawfully, and in accordance with departmental policy.

The Public Affairs Office handles:

• Public information and clarification requests

• Official correspondence and institutional outreach

Requests from government agencies, law-enforcement partners, or authorized institutions are handled through established professional and interagency channels. Such communication is coordinated at the command or liaison level to ensure proper authorization, accountability, and operational integrity.

Communication Policy Notice

To protect operational security and the integrity of ongoing law-enforcement activities, the USPD does not publish direct contact information for operational units, investigators, or command staff. Unauthorized requests for operational details will not be addressed.
